God is real. He is the fount of all fact, truth and grace. We can know about Him from the Scripture. We can know Him in our relationship to Jesus, TheWord. All of life, every moment, presents a choice to yield to God through Jesus’ loving lordship -  or not. There is nothing tivial, and nothing secular.
